The ship's daily program of activities shall indicate the proper attire for every evening. Avoid being inconsiderate and ignoring the dress code. Aside from looking inappropriate, you don't want to be stared at.
There are many passengers who pile personal belongings or towels on the chaise loungers near the pool area to save the area for possible later use. Do not be selfish and make the lounge chairs available for other people to use if you are not going to be using it for the moment.
While it is perfectly fine to save a seat for your cruise companion or for your spouse, avoid saving entire row of seats in the show lounge or saving a complete table in the dining area. Do not be thoughtless and give room for others.
If you will be bringing your kids along on the cruise, you should be able to control their behavior. Parents should not allow young kids to roam the ship freely on their own, run around, splash water when taking a dip in the pool, cavort around like horses and play with the elevators not only for their own safety but for the safety of the other passengers on board.
